Access cloud storage securely and easily
The Cloud is increasingly appealing for long-term storage of sensitive critical data. As security departments rely more on hybrid storage, they want to balance the benefits of the Cloud with existing cybersecurity and efficiency concerns. Security Center 5.10.2 helps in three ways:
-
Rest easy knowing your video is as secure off-site as on-site with encryption at rest in the Cloud
-
Access long term storage more easily with rehydration notifications and playback directly from the cloud
-
Minimize active system management with configurable limits on upload bandwidth
Estimate crowd sizes with video analytics
Not all areas have clearly defined boundaries to run analytics on entries and exits. Crowd estimation allows you to count the number of people within defined areas of a camera’s field of view, opening up the applications for people counting analytics. Monitor occupancy in open or private areas like shops or streets and trigger actions when thresholds are met, focusing operator attention where it matters.
Consolidate more data across your remote sites
Centralized operations are more than just viewing remote video and access events; you must bring together actionable data to guide your activities and make informed decisions. With Security Center 5.10.2, you can now see Synergis people counting data through Federation™, monitoring occupancy, taking action when the last person leaves an area, or reporting the flow of people across facilities from one central location. Beyond monitoring, operators can act across federated sites, such as resetting counts or removing cardholders from an area - simplifying system management.
