Identify areas with alarms under maintenance
Having an overall understanding of which areas contain alarms under maintenance is critical for efficient security operations. It allows operators to determine which areas to monitor and which not to. When you can’t tell the difference between a live alarm and an inactive one it can obscure what’s important and waste your organization’s time, energy, and attention.
Add a cone icon to display areas with alarms under maintenance
Before this release, it was difficult to quickly identify areas with alarms under maintenance. Operators would have to look at a list view to identify active and inactive alarms. With this new feature, you can now add a cone icon to display areas on the map that contain alarms in maintenance. This way, operators can easily identify alarms that require their attention and which don’t, reducing both noise and alarm fatigue.
What is a Minor release?
Security Center Minor releases are frequent updates available to all users of a major version. If your system is already using version 5.10, you can upgrade to 5.10.4 and gain access to the new capabilities today! If your system is on a previous major version, like Security Center 5.9, you can upgrade to Security Center 5.10.4 with an active Genetec Advantage plan.
