EchoGuard RSA Plugin Solution Overview

Echodyne’s EchoGuard RSA Plugin provides a direct integration of radar tracks into Genetec. This allows active surveillance in any weather condition including snow, fog, rain, and more.

Main Features:

  •  High accuracy tracks overlayed on a map of a secured area provided by a metamaterials electronically scanned array (MESA) radar
  •  Drone track classification displayed in RSA and cues cameras to the drone for visual inspection

Tracks and their associated data (position, velocity, size, etc.) are stored inside of RSA for easy indexing of activity

Key Market Applicatrions

Drone Detection

If your site’s security is threatened by nefarious drone activity, EchoGuard radar can actively scan the airspace to detect and track the drone as far as 1km. Paired with a camera inside of RSA, the EchoGuard radar can send the position of the drone in the airspace to allow RSA to pan/tilt/zoom the camera to the drone, allowing for eyes on target.

Ground Perimeter Security

For complete perimeter surveillance with minimal cameras, EchoGuard radar provides active search while track capability to the perimeter of a site. When ground activity occurs, EchoGuard radar will detect the activity and provide location of the target, allowing for total perimeter surveillance coverage.
