How do I register for this course?
Please reach out to [email protected] for the registration form and trainings details. At the time of enrollment, the blended learning option should be select. Once completed, return the registration form to [email protected].
Who should register?
Training is open to:
- Genetec partners and customers
- Core field teams working on the installation, communication, application support, or project engineers
What is the frequency of instructor-led sessions?
The participant(s) have the option to join group session with a Genetec Trainer. The link to book a session can be found within the course, once registered. We ask that students come prepared with their questions and indicate the questions in the Microsoft Bookings request to allow for the trainer to prepare.
Please note, these sessions are only for training related questions. For technical support, we ask that participants reach out to support directly.
Alternatively, at the course level, a discussion forum will be available for participants to post questions. Our trainers will be monitoring the forum to answer all posts.
What is the procedure for completing the assignments?

How do I acquire the certificate?
Upon successful competition, a Genetec Instructor will grant certification to the partner. The certificate is accessible through the Genetec Portal.
Is there a deadline to complete my certification?
Participants are to complete the training within two months from the enrollment date and are given two attempts . A reminder will be sent to participants after one month of enrollment.
Do you offer private instructor-led training sessions?

My certification is expired, what should I do?
For expired certifications, the partner should undergo the same procedure as stated above. The partner is required to complete the assignment and the exam.
What will happen to the standard certification program?
The standard certification instructor-led certifiation classes will continue to be available.
What is Genetec University and is it available on mobile?
Genetec University Portal is centralized for the overall learning journey. It is available in both web and mobile versions. The web version is optimized for all standard browsers and iOS and Android phones.
