More than 26 years and 2,000 employees later we still act like any other start-up, using technology creatively to help solve new problems.
Our history
When we first started out in 1997, we were a modest group of engineers with big dreams to build a physical security system that could empower our customers to master their environments.
This vision led to our very first IP-based video surveillance system, Omnicast, which offered more scalability, flexibility, and ease of use than anything else on the market.
Introduction of Federation
Federation was an innovation that was designed to help our customers connect multiple remote sites together. This created the ability to have a global view from a single location - increasing efficiency, lowering costs, and facilitating the standardization of security operations.
Launch of Security Center
As users began to embrace our IP video surveillance system, the need for interoperation with other security systems grew as well.
In response, we developed Security Center, an enterprise security platform designed to unify video surveillance, access control, and automatic license plate recognition functions so they would work as one.
More than security
Over the years, our video and access control products have been recognized as leading solutions in the industry.
Working closely with our customers has resulted in new industry-specific solutions that help them to better protect, understand and optimize their operations.
