By comparing this year’s survey results with those from 2023, we were able to compile the data for our first Sustainability in Physical Security Report. Here’s a sneak peek at some of our findings:

Shift in strategies

One interesting observation is the re-evaluation of sustainability priorities. Our data shows a slight decline in organizations with fully defined sustainability strategies, signaling a shift in focus and strategic alignment within the industry.

Regional differences

Our survey data highlights significant regional differences. For example, organizations in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region demonstrate a strong inclination towards leveraging access control data for green operations, while those in Europe, the UK, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) lead in adopting fully defined internal ESG strategies.

Demand for ESG in procurement

A noteworthy trend is the increasing inclusion of sustainability criteria in requests for proposals (RFPs) submitted to vendors. More organizations are prioritizing ESG considerations in their procurement processes, underscoring a growing commitment to sustainable practices.

Understanding the landscape
