Rugged design meets video analytics

MIC IP starlight 7000i and fusion 9000i moving cameras feature a rugged housing and built-in Intelligent Video Analytics, for reliable alerts in extreme weather conditions, analytics while moving, and metadata fusion, in the case of 9000i.

The true potential of MIC IP cameras is the combination of their rugged design with built-in Intelligent Video Analytics that is specifically designed for the most demanding environments. The solid metal bodies of the MIC IP starlight 7000i and the MIC IP fusion 9000i can withstand severe weather conditions. Built-in starlight technology ensures highly detailed color images in extreme low-light situations. When light levels drop to zero, the optional illuminator in the MIC IP starlight 7000i camera, or the thermal capabilities of the MIC IP fusion 9000i, ensure the greatest level of detail or early detection of objects. The Intelligent Video Analytics stands out from other video content analysis solutions because of its ability to differentiate between genuine security events and known false triggers, such as snow, wind (moving trees), rain, hail, and water reflections.

Capturing details in extreme environments 24/7

Punishing winds, relentless rain, huge temperatures fluctuations, clouds of dust or high-impacts. No matter how tough conditions get, your surveillance operation must never stop. The MIC IP series combines all our expertise in mechanical engineering and IP video surveillance in a single solid camera design. Built to resist practically everything. The Intelligent Defog feature, which can be activated manually or automatically, improves visibility when viewing foggy or other low-contrast scenes. The integrated silicone wiper and washer keeps the glass clean and our Window-defrosting function makes sure MIC IP cameras capture the highest quality video no matter how cold it gets. Engineered to work in places you never want to go, delivering highest quality of relevant video images in extreme environments with lowest costs and network strain.

Maximum situational awareness due to metadata fusion

In traffic monitoring, maximum situational awareness is critical in order to safeguard bridges and tunnels. A security camera on the inside of a tunnel is of great importance. No matter what happens, a relevant image is always needed in order to take appropriate measures whenever an incident occurs. Due to it’s thermal and optical camera and metadata fusion feature, the MIC IP fusion 9000i offers full situational awareness, 24/7. It fuses the metadata of the camera’s built-in optical and thermal imager, providing users with full situational awareness - regardless of whether it’s the optical or thermal video stream that’s being watched. Metadata fusion helps users to focus on ‘invisible’ things that need attention. If an event is detected, but is not necessarily visible in the video stream being watched, an alarm is triggered anyway and users can simply click the alarm overlay box. The user will then see the video data related to that event.

Early object detection in mission - critical applications

The built-in Intelligent Video Analytics perfectly matches the robust design of the MIC IP cameras. This type of video analytics stands out from other video content analysis solutions because of its ability to differentiate between genuine security events and known false triggers. Triggers such as challenging environments with snow, wind (moving trees), rain, hail, and water reflections. Intelligent Video Analytics enables the detection of objects over large distances. When combined with the thermal imaging capabilities of the MIC IP fusion 9000i, it is the perfect solution for early object detection in mission-critical applications like the perimeter protection of airports, critical infrastructures and border patrol.

Features and benefits

  • Withstands severe weather conditions, because of the solid metal bodies (high winds, rain, fog, dust and 100% humidity, temperatures from -40°C to +65°C, extreme vibrations and high impacts)
  • Built-in starlight technology ensures highly detailed color images in extreme low-light situations. When light levels drop to zero, the optional illuminator in the MIC IP starlight 7000i camera, or the thermal capabilities of the MIC IP fusion 9000i, ensure the greatest level of detail or early detection of objects.
  • Intelligent Video Analytics differentiates between genuine security events and known false triggers, and enables the detection of objects over large distances.
  • The new MIC IP fusion 9000i offers a unique feature: metadata fusion. It fuses the metadata of the camera’s built-in optical and thermal imager, providing users with full situational awareness.
  • Video analytics while moving. An operator is alerted,  the moment a moving object or person is detected while the MIC IP camera is panning, tilting or zooming.
