Maximum optical control for large areas, top quality analytics data and unlimited “virtual PTZs”
In many surveillance scenarios, users need to capture large areas and long distances with a defined resolution density.
Conventional camera technology is simply not capable of doing this: Megapixel cameras capture objects in the background with lower resolution, and PTZ cameras lose all other parts of the scene when zooming.
Combining Genetec Security Center with Panomera®, users can monitor huge areas in exceptional detail with very few Panomera® systems. Opening multiple zoom windows allows for high-resolution detail views in any area of the image. The overall view of the scene is always maintained, be it live or in recording. The benefit is equal to the combination of a powerful megapixel camera with any number of high-resolution "virtual" PTZs.
To achieve this unique capability, the patented multifocal-sensor system Panomera® works with up to 8 camera sensors ("multi-sensor") in one casing, each operating with different focal lengths ("multi-focal"), thus covering a different area of the entire space. Depending on the specific camera model, the effective resolution is up to 190 MP, hFOV ranges from 15° to 90° and bit rate is up to 30 fps.

Solution architecture
Genetec user can integrate Dallmeier Panomera® cameras via ONVIF and the Genetec “Visual tracking” feature, allowing easy navigation of the Panomera® camera within Genetec Security Center. To ease the configuration, the Panomera® offers a geometry interface. In Genetec Security Center, a Macro can be used to collect the geometry information from Panomera® and configure the Visual tracking zones automatically.
