FLIR Nexus Solution Overview

The Nexus integration allows for real-time edge communication for all Nexus enabled devices manufactured by FLIR.  Nexus allows FLIR devices to seamlessly communicate to one another for accurate detection and tracking of targets and with the integration we can monitor the activity in RSA as it is happening.

Main Features:

•  Nexus devices include FH-ID and FC-AI fixed cameras, DX PT camera, and R-290/190 Radar.

Key Market Applicatrions

Nexus provides enhanced situational awareness for any sort of perimeter application.  The Nexus firmware allows FLIR devices to communicate to each other at the edge.  This means that if a radar picks up a moving target or if a fixed thermal camera identifies a human threat, these devices can share the geodata directly with a pan/tilt camera, so we are more precise with the handoff and maintain better continuity on the tracking side of things.  With the integration into RSA, we can visibly see the movement of the targets through the software.

Features and Benefits

FLIR Nexus devices have the ability to identify, alarm, and track on threats at the edge.  With the integration into RSA it provides real-time functionality within the software which allows an operator to see what is happening and take control of devices if needed.  Most other solutions would work in a passive manner that would record the information but not provide the real-time functionality.
