Hanwha - AI Camera

AI Cameras

Wisenet AI cameras using AI algorithms filter out irrelevant movements caused by environmental changes such as waving trees, shadows, or animals. While conventional cameras detect motion based on its pixels and generate events even if users want to ignore, Deep Learning-based Wisenet AI cameras generate event alarm only for people and vehicles, reducing false alarms for more efficient operation.

Hanwha Vision’s product line also includes edge-based AI, which filters and processes data locally on a camera to enable end-to-end AI technology. Traditionally, security cameras send the data they collect to servers to be analyzed. With edge-based AI, the data is analyzed by the camera first, and subsequently sent to the server. This reduces the burden of transferring and storing large amounts of data to a server, thereby increasing efficiency, saving time, and reducing server costs typically required to analyze data.

The combination of Hanwha and Genetec technology

Enable a range of user benefits. Hanwha Vision’s AI camera plug-in is used to register AI analytics metadata captured by Wisenet AI cameras to Genetec’s Security Center, allowing for fast and efficient forensic searches.  Users benefit from a range of classification capabilities by object attributes for people (gender, facial type), garments (top/bottom clothing colors), objects (face masks, glasses and bags) and vehicles (type, color and license plate detection).
