HTR (HAVELSAN Technology Radar) was established in 1990 as a Turkish-French joint venture of Thomson-CSF and Tekfen companies, in order to manufacture the TRS-22XX Long Range Air Defense Radars which are needed by the Air Force Command, has become a domestic Corporation with the transfer of Thales shares to Havelsan Inc. in February 2001. HTR is an indirect subsidiary of the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation.

 

It continues its activities in the fields of Electronic Systems, Subsystem Design Mass Production, and Network Supported Security Systems in order to meet the needs of the defense industry, especially the armed forces.
