Solution architecture

The HID FARGO Connect solution utilizes only the Genetec WebSDK endpoint. No macros or other integrations are necessary. By leveraging the HID FARGO Connect Bridge framework, the solution can be added to any Genetec instance, whether on-prem or cloud-based. For printing a new badge, a member of the operations staff can access either the Security Desk or Web Client. Then opening a user's record, and simply modifying the record will send a print request to HID FARGO Connect for printing. The issuance user can make the request from any pc or browser, to send a print job to any printer in the HID FARGO Connect ecosystem. When the print process is complete the Bridge framework will automatically add a new credential with an associated card number to the user's record within Security Center.
