Gemini detects, classifies and tracks intruders and vehicles in real-time using 3D data from Ouster lidars installed at a site. It performs under the most adverse lighting and environmental conditions to ensure alarms are only triggered for real events. Data from single or multiple fused stationery Ouster lidars provide continuous, real-time tracking of an intruder or object without blind spots. A simple and fast install with a mount and ethernet connection is all that is needed to access the following Gemini benefits:

- Protect personal data as Gemini does not capture PII data helping customer to adhere to privacy compliance.
Genetec customers can access Gemini directly from Security Center via a seamless RSA plug-in. Once Gemini detects an intrusion, it can reliably trigger an alert through Security Center to cue PTZ cameras to the point of an intrusion, track an intruder(s) or vehicle(s), initiate an alarm, and record an event, all within the Security Center dashboard.

Using an identifier tracking ID, Gemini can simultaneously measure distance, trajectory or speed of over 1,000 people or vehicles with centimeter-level accuracy. Gemini can detect the entry and exit of people from specific zones, such as intrusions over a fence, or entry into restricted red zones. This enables security personnel to quickly identify and then respond to real threats with confidence.
