Security guards can authenticate badge holders enrolled in the Synergis database from anywhere using XPressEntry handheld badge and biometric readers. This includes remote gates, a temporary construction entrance, bus entry, or the lobby of a site. Upon the scan of a badge or biometrics, XPressEntry handhelds checks permissions to secure areas, conveniently displays the user’s name, a photo of the user and ‘Access Granted’ or ‘Access Denied’. All scans / activities are recorded and syncs with Synergis in real-time or continues to work offline until connectivity is reestablished. Perform simple employee validation spot checks or audit entries into and exits from secure areas.
