Recogntion of UIC (International Union of Railways) rail wagon/coach numbers
VaxOCR UIC On Camera software provides the automatic recognition, storage and transmission of UIC rail wagon/coach numbers on slow or stationary railway rolling stock enabling the detection and tracking of assets.
UIC Codes provide the following information:
- Digits 1-2: Vehicle type and Interoperability Capacity
- Digits 3-4: Country Code
- Digits 5-8: Vehicle Type Information
- Digits 9-11: Individual running (serial) number
- Digit 12: checksum digit
User definable ROIs enable accurate sub FOV monitoring and direction of travel
