Genetec: Kay Ohse is the new country manager for the DACH and ECE regions

Genetec Inc. (“Genetec”), a leading technology provider of unified security, public safety, operations, and business intelligence solutions appointed a new Country Manager for the regions of Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH) and East Central Europe (ECE) in March 2020. In his new position, the internationally experienced expert in IT, telecommunications and audio/video will continue to expand the rapidly growing activities for Genetec in the region.

“Genetec has been very successful in the last several years, establishing itself as an expert in unified security. The company has a very exciting, trailblazing product portfolio, so I’m looking forward to the new challenge”, Kay Ohse said. “My objective is to expand the sales team in DACH and ECE. Working closely with our customers and sales partners, we will also develop and implement innovative and comprehensive security solutions for a wide array of industries.”

Kay Ohse comes to Genetec from Kramer Electronics, an international manufacturer of business solutions in the audio and video field where most recently, as Country Manager Germany, he was in charge of channel and wholesale business development. Prior to that, he worked as VP Sales at Oracle Germany and at Deutsche Telekom in the Product and Innovation Division; he was also Country Manager DACH and ECE at Polycom.
