AutoVu Cloudrunner available in Australia and New Zealand

AutoVu Cloudrunner vehicle-centric investigation system is now launched and hosted in the Pacific region. Having a solar-powered design removes complexities during set up, while still having a high-performance ALPR solution so you can close cases faster.

What is Cloudrunner?

AutoVu Cloudrunner™ is more than automatic license plate recognition (ALPR). It’s a powerful vehicle-centric investigation system that helps communities respond to security challenges.

It is specifically designed to enable local governments, law enforcement agencies, private businesses, and community safety teams to solve cases more efficiently.

Cloudrunner incorporates advanced vehicle data analytics with high-performance solar-powered ALPR cameras. This system provides data collection capabilities, ensuring reliable reads under any weather condition – day or night, rain or shine.

How it stacks up against other ALPR systems

Having an intuitive, cloud-based platform allows you to:

  • Speed up deployment: Be up and running in a matter of minutes with easy installation and no existing infrastructure required.

  • Make decisions faster: Receive real-time hotlist alerts and monitor live data to respond to incidents more effectively.
  • Investigate smarter: Access an intuitive interface with advanced vehicle analytics to identify make, model, color, and type.
  • Enhance collaboration: Simplify evidence-sharing with collaborative intelligence and a digital evidence management system.
  • Adapt and expand: Get flexible subscription-based pricing that adapts to your needs within one system, so you can effectively scale as business evolves.

Teams that can close cases faster

Law enforcement

When installed on strategic roadways or in crime hotspots, Cloudrunner cameras automatically capture license plates and pertinent vehicle characteristics as they drive by.

If a vehicle is linked to a recent crime on a hotlist, officers can be alerted in real-time by email or SMS and visualize the event on Cloudrunner interactive maps. Officers can search the database using the license plate or vehicle details like make, model, color, and type to quickly find evidence.

Officers can also share evidence with authorized stakeholders using the integration with Clearance, maintaining the chain of custody.

Retail

Organized retail crime groups often target stores in specific areas. When investigating theft, retailers can rely on reads from ALPR cameras to identify vehicles of interest.

By installing Cloudrunner cameras, retailers can capture vehicle data and track license plates that enter their parking facilities. This enables them to monitor and identify vehicles associated with potential retail crime activities, providing information in advance about a potential issue at stores.

Using collaborative intelligence, they can also access shared ALPR data with other retailers nearby and collectively protect their assets.

Enterprise

Organizations encounter various issues ranging from mitigating vehicle theft in employee parking facilities, to monitoring access at remote sites like oil and gas facilities. Cloudrunner cameras can be installed to receive real-time notifications as soon as unauthorized vehicles enter their parking facilities. Security teams can also conduct post-event analysis to assist law enforcement in solving crimes, thereby ensuring a safer workplace environment.

In addition, Security Center can provide a unified view of video management, intrusion, access control, communications, and Cloudrunner camera reads—all in one place.
