Simplify cardholder management with Genetec Card Synchronization

Seamlessly import and continuously update cardholder information from external sources to Synergis.

The new Genetec Card Synchronization simplifies employee system management by allowing a one-way synchronization of cardholder data from multiple external sources into SynergisTM and simultaneously synchronizing it with other systems.

Managing multiple employee databases requires continuous upkeep of those systems. Card Synchronization allows security operators to efficiently import cardholder information such as cardholder names, cardholder groups, and credentials data from external sources into Synergis. In addition, Card Synchronization keeps Synergis synchronized with those external systems so that if a change is made to the original database, it will automatically be copied to Synergis.

Merging multiple data sources

When importing multiple external data sources into Synergis, new cardholder information is consolidated with existing ones. To avoid the creation of double identities, global keys can be used to determine whether the information is supposed to be merged. Multiple global keys, such as employee numbers, emails, and date of birth, can be used simultaneously for links to be easily made between the data.

Smooth data import

When importing data from multiple external data sources, such as delimited text files, you can configure the one-way synchronization of the data to occur manually or automatically and at an interval most convenient to your operations. In addition, you can treat your Azure AD database as an external data source to synchronize it with Synergis.
