New partners offer flexible intrusion monitoring solutions

Satel and Telenot are now joining our list of intrusion solution providers and partners for our Intrusion Protocol integration.

Genetec added new partners, Satel and Telenot, to the Intrusion Panel Integration and made enhancements to allow for full cloud, hybrid, or on-premises deployments.

The Genetec Intrusion Panel Integration is cloud-ready

We enhanced our intrusion panel integration by creating the Genetec Intrusion Protocol. Aside from the known on-premises option, this protocol enables interconnectivity of on-premises alarm panels with Genetec Security Center in a full cloud or hybrid environment. It also allows for a seamless and gradual transition to the cloud.

In the past, intrusion extensions to security systems required a local intrusion manager to connect the intrusion panels via the local area network. Now, the new Genetec Intrusion Protocol supports hybrid and fully hosted deployments for more scalability and flexibility. It also bridges and secures the connection between the alarm panels and any existing servers – without dropping events if there is a temporary loss in network connectivity.

Bosch, Satel, and Telenot also support cloud environments

The cloud deployment options of the Genetec Intrusion Panel Integration are now available with the Bosch B&G series, Satel INTEGRA, and Telenot Complex 400H panels. These are the first partners that support connecting intrusion systems to our full cloud or hybrid Security Center environment. The new Genetec Intrusion Protocol will allow us to expand our intrusion integrations and features more efficiently, in addition to having the ability to connect with other intrusion and alarm panel solutions.
