See what’s new in Genetec Sipelia 2.14

We’re excited to announce a new version of Genetec Sipelia, our communications management system. Version 2.14 offers a new way to interact with your communications and helps improve response time for critical events.

A new and intuitive way to interact with your communications

With Sipelia™ version 2.14, you can now access your communications management system directly from your favorite web browser using the Genetec™ Web App.

A unified web-based solution

Our Genetec Web App goes beyond video monitoring—it’s designed with unification at its core. From your web browser, you can quickly access your cameras, doors, cardholders, license plate recognition units, intercoms, and more—all within a single interface.

An easy-to-use experience

Perform operator-to-operator calls, answer intercom calls, and view video footage associated with your SIP devices on a modern, user-friendly interface.

Access your communications remotely

Certain security operators need remote access to their communications management systems and other security systems. The Sipelia integration with the Genetec Web App allows operators to do just that. With this new feature, you can monitor your security systems from any computer with a web browser—no heavy downloads, large updates, or dedicated workstations required.

Enhanced connectivity

With Sipelia available in the Genetec Web App, our communications management solution is now accessible across all three Security Center interfaces: Security Desk, Genetec Mobile, and the Genetec Web App. This flexibility lets you choose the interface that best suits your comfort level.

Speed up response time during emergencies

Sipelia 2.14 introduces the ability to pre-configure priorities for calls in your security system. When multiple calls arrive simultaneously, the call with the highest priority will be clearly identified and properly ordered so that operators can react promptly. This functionality is particularly valuable for security teams using Sipelia as a call center, ensuring critical calls receive immediate attention and enabling swift and effective responses during emergencies.

Additional features and enhancements

In case you missed them, we’ve added other new capabilities to Sipelia in the last few months. These include support for SIP-based unified reports, dashboards, and the ability to configure the Sipelia Mobile TURN server for compatibility with 4G and 5G mobile networks. For more details on these features, please check out the “What’s new in Sipelia 2.14” demo video.

Adding Sipelia to your deployment has never been easier

Did you know that Sipelia is included in the Security Center 5.12 base and installer package? If you’re using Security Center 5.12 or higher, you can access Sipelia and enjoy operator-to-operator calling right out of the box. And, when you’re ready to add intercoms and speakers to your deployment, you can add connection licenses per device.

Sipelia is now more accessible than ever
