Enhance offline operations with Softwire 11.5

Find out how the new Synergis Softwire update includes three new features to help you manage your online and offline operations more efficiently.

P2P communication is now on Axis Powered by Genetec devices

Synergis™ Softwire 11.5 enables Axis Powered by Genetec devices on Security Center 5.12.0+ to maintain global operations offline via peer-to-peer communication. This ensures continuous functionality even without server access, enhancing reliability in scenarios with unreliable internet. We’ve integrated global anti-passback protocols, adding an extra security layer to your system’s offline operation. And I/O linking across controllers ensures seamless device coordination, enhancing efficiency.

Added Mercury offline triggers and procedures

Synergis Softwire 11.5 introduces new Mercury triggers and procedures, expanding offline capabilities. This allows the system to function smoothly even without constant server connectivity. Mercury controllers also provide enhanced support for complex I/O configurations, benefiting large-scale installations and diverse system requirements. You can now define sequential actions triggered by various events, enhancing system flexibility and customization. These upgrades, available for Security Center 5.12.0 and higher, improve overall system efficiency and responsiveness.

Automation features

A new Automation Engine task in Synergis Appliance Portal makes its debut in Softwire 11.5. You can now automate tasks directly on your Synergis Cloud Link 3.0.2, simplifying rule creation with easy-to-understand entity names instead of complicated GUIDs which allows for an overall better user experience and increased productivity.
