For Duress, the Lynx system creates a blanket of duress alarms throughout an organization enabling staff a discreet method to notify security and others if there is an issue.  The computer keyboard or USB alarm works if the computer is logged on, logged off, or locked.  The system also has the option of PoE and wireless buttons. Hundreds of thousands of employees are protected by Lynx duress alarms that are supervised and can be easily tested monthly.

The Mass notification aspect of Lynx enables communication with the click of an Lynx icon in Security Center or an alarm in Genetec can be automated to communicate to staff and visitors in a facility or campus across a full variety of outputs both visually and verbally – computers, digital signage, radios, mobile devices, Overhead PA systems and Axis Network Speakers. 

Lastly the integration with VMS and access control enables automated communication of critical alarms over any existing radios or any other Lynx outputs to improve response time.
