Transform transit data collection with Clearance
The latest Clearance update makes it easy for transit authorities to manage video and data requests from both fixed cameras and onboard fleet systems. Now security teams can consolidate and share the information securely with all relevant stakeholders.
Simplify video management from onboard systems
Transit security departments often handle dozens of video requests each day. This can include recordings from cameras set up at stations, or onboard buses and trains. The new version of the Clearance™ plugin for Security Center allows agencies to incorporate their fleet system in Clearance.
In addition to station cameras, authorized users can now request video from Security Center onboard systems and have recordings automatically uploaded to Clearance for review with other departments and external stakeholders. Requests are initiated through the Clearance video request module and allows teams to respond to tasks more efficiently and securely.
Review vehicle telematic data
Vehicle metadata, including speed, latitude, longitude positions, and triggers, can now be played in sync while reviewing video from onboard systems. Telematic data is available with uploads from Security Center fleet monitoring system and i-PRO in-car systems.
Groups outside the security team, such as those involved in legal and claims reviews, benefit from reviewing vehicle metadata as it adds contextual leads to the video recordings to better understand how events unfold.
Third-party integrations can also leverage the vehicle model to send the metadata through the Clearance APIs.
