Share incident videos and reports via Genetec Clearance
Operators often need to share video evidence and details of the incident response after it’s closed. This information might need to be transmitted to other departments or external organizations such as law enforcement, attorneys, and insurance providers. However, doing so can be challenging since they are not Security Center users. Genetec Clearance™ facilitates the consolidation of evidence and simplifies how it can be shared between stakeholders while maintaining the chain of custody. It also makes video redaction easy so you can protect the privacy of individuals captured in the footage.
Alarm aggregation simplified
Genetec Mission Control™ can aggregate related events and alarms after an incident is triggered. For example, if a door gets forced open again after being forced opened once, it will notify the operator managing the incident. This aggregating activity was already possible using automated workflows but is now available as a setting within incident triggers, which makes it a lot easier to configure.
Delay automation activity until a specific time
You can use a "delay" automation to delay the execution of specific automated workflows. For example, you may want to delay rebooting a camera unit for a few minutes in case it pops back up. Besides using the “delay” function for a fixed amount of time (e.g., delay for 5 minutes), automated activities can now be delayed until a specific time (e.g., delay until 7 pm).
