Security Center SaaS continues to evolve with new features

Security Center SaaS continues to develop as a robust video surveillance as a service solution. Recent updates include additional manufacturers in direct-to-cloud camera support, object analytics, and edge recording.

Security Center SaaS gets new feature updates

Over the past few months, we’ve focused on enhancing the video capabilities of Security Center SaaS, delivering greater flexibility, faster deployments, and improved performance for end users.

Here are the key updates:

Bosch and i-PRO Direct-to-cloud (D2C) camera support

We’re excited to announce the addition of Bosch and i-PRO direct-to-cloud (D2C) cameras to Security Center SaaS. This new feature expands our open portfolio, providing users with even more options for cloud-based deployments. Users now have the flexibility to choose from Bosch’s latest product platform 14 and all models from the i-PRO’s S Series of AI cameras. We also continue to support Axis cameras (firmware 9.8 and above). This enhances flexibility for both channel partners and end users, offering a wider range of camera models and ensuring seamless integration for video surveillance in the cloud. Users can easily design their systems based on their required functionalities and budget.

SD card support and recording profiles

Our solution supports edge recording through SD cards to provide more deployment flexibility. This feature allows customers to store recordings locally on the camera if they prefer it over Cloud Storage. Also, new recording profiles make device management easier by allowing users to define how video is recorded and where it’s stored. This makes device management easier as multiple cameras can be associated to a profile.

Firearm detection analytics

Security Center SaaS can now use the Bosch firearm detection analytics to provide this critical information to operators. The cutting-edge object detection technology enables the creation of event-to-action rules, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of live incident response.

Camera dewarping

Security Center SaaS now includes fisheye camera de-warping. This feature transforms distorted 360° video from fisheye or wide-angle cameras into clear video footage. As a result, an even wider variety of cameras can be used in Security Center SaaS, providing operators with understandable footage and improving security decision-making.

These updates further solidify our commitment to providing an evolving, best-of-breed SaaS solution for video surveillance, ensuring that Security Center SaaS meets the needs of modern security operations.
