Receive and make calls with Genetec Mobile

With Sipelia directly available within Genetec Mobile, you can make and receive calls from other operators no matter where you are. With this new feature, your mobile device will ring and notify you like a traditional phone call. This makes it easier for you to transfer information to your colleagues, and it helps increase collaboration in your security team.

Control intercom entry points from anywhere

You can make and receive calls from other operators, but you can also handle calls on the go from SIP devices like intercoms. If an intercom is associated with a door, you can use Genetec Mobile to lock and unlock the door from the call window. This feature is helpful for personnel in charge of welcoming visitors, for example, a receptionist. If a visitor uses the intercom and the receptionist is away from the front desk, they can answer the call using their mobile device so that the visitor doesn’t wait at the front door. This new functionality allows your security system to become more portable and enables you to leave your workstation without negatively impacting your organization’s operations.

Trigger public announcements on the go

When events in the field require the notification of security personnel, employees, or visitors, patrolling officers need a solution to broadcast messages quickly across their premises. With Sipelia 2.13 and Genetec Mobile, you can trigger public announcements with your mobile device. Using the hot action feature in our mobile application, you can broadcast text-to-speech or pre-recorded messages. Whether on patrol or away from your workstation, this feature allows you to rapidly transmit public announcements to speed up the response and coordination of your organization.
