Access a thumbnail view of all your favorite cameras with the new Favorites page
With the latest release of Genetec™ Mobile, we've added a new tab in the side menu called the Favorites page. This new tab allows you to monitor all your favorite cameras in one location.
On the Favorites page, you'll see a thumbnail view of all your favorite cameras. When you click on a camera's thumbnail, its video footage expands, making monitoring the live video feed easier. With a tap of a finger, you can remove and add cameras on the Favorites page. You can also set the Favorites page as your default landing page after signing into Genetec Mobile. This allows you to view your favorite cameras immediately after opening our mobile application.

A new login experience
Benefit from a new sign-in experience on Genetec Mobile as we introduce a new modern look and feel to the user interface. You can now see all your systems and their statuses on a single page and connect to any of them with a simple click. Get quicker access to your systems when switching servers and launching our mobile application using Auto Sign-In.
Stay on top of new features with in-app notifications
We're continuously enhancing Genetec Mobile with new features that provide a more unified experience across all Genetec platforms. To ensure that you're up to date with all these new features, we've introduced the "What's new" feature. This provides in-app notifications on Genetec Mobile to inform you of our mobile application's latest functionalities and changes.
Did you know that intrusion detection is available on Genetec Mobile?
This feature isn't new, but we'd like to remind you that intrusion detection is available on our mobile application. With Security Center 5.10.1 and up, you can access your intrusion system using Genetec Mobile. Intrusion detection in Genetec Mobile leverages our mobile app's map-based interface to inform you of suspicious activity and incidents with the help of intrusion alerts. Using our mobile application, you can arm and disarm intrusion zones, bring contextual video when alarms are triggered, see which input triggered the intrusion alarm, and acknowledge intrusion events. With this functionality available in Genetec Mobile, it allows your access control system to become more mobile.
