An intuitive way to manage cardholders

We’ve added a cardholder task which adds a new access control functionality in the Genetec™ Web App. With this new feature, you can manage your cardholders on an intuitive interface, from anywhere, on your favorite web browser.

Quickly toggle between list view and card view

If list views are not your thing, you can switch to card view to get better visibility on cardholders’ pictures, groups, and statuses. The card view is an excellent way to identify cardholders using their picture and associated information quickly.

Edit cardholder information with ease

With a simple click on a cardholder, you’ll open the details pane, which displays a cardholder’s information. The detail pane also offers the ability to edit and delete cardholders. You can modify information such as a name, email, phone number, status, access badge expiration date, and more. This feature enables you to manage cardholder information easily, and it allows you to remove people from your organization’s cardholder list from anywhere.

Filter down long cardholder lists

Finding an individual in a long list of cardholders can be highly time-consuming. Using the Cardholder task in the Genetec Web App, you can sort your columns and apply filters such as cardholder name, status, group, and much more. This feature helps you save time searching for specific cardholders in daunting lists.

Additional features and enhancements

In this update, we’ve also added a new button that allows you to expand camera footage from the side pane to a bigger resolution. This feature helps you get a better view of your camera footage while monitoring and investigating your facilities. Also, our web-based interface now supports passive authentication allowing you and your team to quickly and easily authenticate yourselves when connecting to the Genetec Web App.

The Genetec Web App uses a continuous delivery model, which means that new updates come quickly. Using the Genetec Update Service (GUS), you can easily keep track of all the Genetec Web App releases and efficiently update your system to never miss out on the continuous stream of new features and enhancements.
