Boost security and efficiency with Synergis Softwire 11.6

Extend the automation capabilities of your access control system

Synergis™ Softwire 11.6 adds onto the capabilities of the automation engine introduced in version 11.5. We’ve added a new automation event called “Door - Cardholder authorized” in the Synergis Appliance Portal automation engine task. This new event allows you to add conditions to automation rules, providing your team with more control. Ensure specific conditions are met before automatically granting door access and triggering actions.

Securely automate door access

If your configured conditions aren’t met, then access is denied, no actions are automatically triggered, and Security Center will log an access denied event. For example, you can ensure that regular employees don’t access a specific area before the intrusion system is disarmed. In this instance, the intrusion point is used as a condition, and an additional validation step to grant access to cardholders. This added layer of security ensures a secure and efficient process.

Add multiple conditions to your automation rules

Use “AND” and “OR” operators to add multiple conditions to your automation rules, allowing you to manage complex scenarios with precision.

Create targeted automation rules

The new “Door - Cardholder authorized” event allows you to assign automation rules to a specific cardholder group or apply them globally. Whether you want to implement group-specific or system-wide rules, the flexibility is in your hands. 

 

Other enhancements

Synergis Softwire 11.6 also includes the following updates: 

• Updated PIVClass add-on version for the Mercury LP4502 intelligent controller. 

• New supported firmware versions for Allegion Schlage locks. For more details, please refer to our supported device list. 

 

Important product lifecycle update

We would also like to inform you that Synergis Softwire version 11.6 will be the last release supported on all legacy Synergis Cloud Link models. This doesn’t affect Cloud Link Roadrunner™ or the new generation Synergis Cloud Link. We’ll continue to provide security patches and emergency hotfixes for all legacy Synergis Cloud Link models until October 31, 2026. Below are the end of life (EOL) dates for legacy Synergis Cloud Link models, after which they will no longer receive technical support:

• Legacy Synergis Cloud Link – October 31, 2032 

• Legacy Synergis Cloud Link with expansion module – December 31, 2032 

Legacy Synergis Cloud Link can be easily replaced with the new generation Synergis Cloud Link. It features an innovative hardware platform with enhanced cybersecurity, greater reliability, and better support for on-premises, hybrid, and cloud architectures. It’s fully interchangeable with the legacy Synergis Cloud Link.
