What’s new in AutoVu SharpOS 14.1.0
The latest release of AutoVu SharpOS 14.x now has 4G/LTE connectivity, GPS capabilities, and improved read strategy for slow-moving vehicles.

AutoVuTM SharpOS 14.1.0 lets operators get more information about the vehicles their automatic license plate recognition (ALPR) systems capture, allowing them to work on their day-to-day tasks more effectively.
AutoVu SharpOS 14.1.0 means more detailed analytics
This new SharpOS 14.x release allows users with the latest generation of SharpV cameras to benefit from all the analytics available to previous generations of the SharpV.
Added analytics:
- Improved vehicle type
- Added vehicle orientation
- New vehicle accessory detection

Improved read strategy for slow-moving vehicles
The reading strategy for slow-moving vehicles – like those entering a parking garage – has been improved. This allows parking operators, to have a better image of the vehicle and license plate as the capture time has been optimized for their speed.
4G/LTE connectivity is available in North America
With SharpOS 14.1, 4G/LTE connectivity and GPS functionality are now enabled*. Wireless connectivity using 4G/LTE is currently only available to the North American market and will be available to other select countries in future SharpOS 14.x releases.
